Scratch Winners

A huge thank you to all the boys who entered the Scratch competition. The entries were all wonderful and to a very high standard. This competition didn’t have as many entries as the football predictors but we didn’t expect it to. The boys who entered were very much our coders of tomorrow and I am very privileged to announce the winners tomorrow in assembly. I will post the winners here tomorrow along with a link to each of their games.

Summer Fete Competitions

Welcome to the KPSA competition page. To fit in with this year’s theme of the Euro 2016 we have put together a Euro predictor game for the boys. The predictor will be open to all the boys in the school. We will also be running a Scratch game competition where boys can create a Scratch game on the theme of the Euros or football in general see below for further details of each competition.

Euro Predictor

The predictor game will follow the different stages of the competition and the boys will need to make predictions to allow them into the next stage of the predictor game. Boys that make it all the way through the different stages will receive a prize.

The first stage will need the boys to successfully predict the first two teams in the group stages. There are 6 groups and boys will be asked to predict the positions of the teams in these groups. To proceed to the next stage boys will need to get the top two teams in two of the six groups to proceed. The top two teams can be in any order so long as they are in the top two.

Rules

1. One entry per child. If more than one entry is recorded the first entry only will count.

2. You need to click on who you predict will win each of the play offs .

3. All entries to be recorded by the above date and time.

Prizes will be decided by the KPSA and posted at the end of the competition.

To finish off the predictor everyone is invited to join the final prediction just for fun. Not for a prize but just to see if you can predict correctly!

From then on it will get simpler

• The next round will be the play offs and boys can predict who will win each match. Boys who predict winners in two of the eight  games correctly will go through to the next round.
• For the Quarter Finals you will need to predict the four winning  teams that will make it to the Semi Finals to go through to the next round.
• For the Semi Finals you will need to predict the winning teams who will be playing in the fInal.
• For the final the winning boys will be those who predict the victorious team. To win the predictor you will need to have successfully made it through all the stages.
